Honor Jesus our Bridegroom God

Honor Jesus our Bridegroom God

To honor Jesus as our Bridegroom God, we have to surrender ourselves completely to Him with a joyful heart because God loves a cheerful giver.

Just as a man needs a woman for companionship, for eros to become one flesh with her, and for reduction in the burdens of life, so Jesus wants a bride to be with Him for the confidence, and for the joy of intimacy while we become one mind with Him, and for our cooperation with Him to reign in life and to multiply the righteous ones of God in His name.

In Ephesians 5:31-33 it is written: For this reason, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

Nevertheless, let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

To be with Jesus where He is

Jesus wants us to be where He is because being with Jesus, the Living Word, let us know Him and God the Father completely because to know the word of God, is to know God.

In John 14:7 Jesus said to Thomas: If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.

When you rub shoulders with someone, you gradually will become like him. So the more we rub shoulders with Jesus, the more we will become like Him. We rub shoulders with Jesus through prayers.

How to become one mind with Jesus

Prayer is an activity to communicate with God to establish a relationship of trust and intimacy with God. In 2 Corinthians 3:18 it is written: But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

By knowing Jesus, we will become aware of His love which passes knowledge so that we may be filled with all the fullness of God as it is written in Ephesians 3:19.

In 2 Peter 1:2-4 it is written: Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

And in 1 Corinthians 13:12 it is written: For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

But all of this is a preparation for the marriage of the Lamb because in Revelation 19:7-9 it is written: Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.

And to her, it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, write: Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!

How to cooperate with Jesus

We have to cooperate with Jesus by letting Him wash us with His words so that we can be transformed by the renewing of our minds and be totally clean and holy as He wants us to be. We have to give Him space to prepare us as He wishes.

In Ephesians 5:22-28 it is written: wives submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Chris is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.

Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.

We see that Jesus loves the church and He wants the church at His side to share intimacy, the joy of life and responsibility to reign in life with Him.
