Overcoming soul issues

Overcoming soul issues

To overcome soul issues we have to know what’s the function of our soul, what soul issues are all about, how we get them and how we have to deal with them.

The function of our soul

Our soul consist of three parts: the mind to think with, the feeling to experience emotions and the will to make choices. The soul is the mean of our consciousness and when it stands right for God, it is free from every soul issue.

Definition of soul issues

Soul issues are mental or emotional issues and they consist of fleshly desires, feelings of condemnation, soul injuries or traumas. They originate from our sinful nature, accusations, offenses, abuses, ill-treatments or disasters.

How to overcome those soul issues

To overcome those soul issues we have to know of  the exchange that took place at the cross of Christ Jesus. We have to believe in it because now we have the mind of Christ, and we also have to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. We have to reckon ourselves to be dead indeed to sin and to our past, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. When we know and believe that we have the mind of Christ in ourselves, then we can arm ourselves with the mind of Christ.

The consequences of overcoming soul issues

The wellness of our soul determines the wellness of all the other 5 areas of necessities, because what we feel, do and obtain are fruits of our thoughts which we faithfully confess. So right thinking produces right believing and right believing produces right feelings and right living which also can be very abundantly.

The bible verses that I used are: Romans 6:5/Romans 6:11/1 Corinthians 2:16/1 Peter 4:1-2/3 John 2

Romans 6:5

For we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

Romans 6:11

Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Corinthians 2:16

But we have the mind of Christ.

1 Peter 4:1-2

Therefore, since Christ suffer for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lust of men, but for the will of God.

3 John 2

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prosper.
